What is it
Halloween kids puzzles is a fun puzzle app for young children; it is easy for kids to use unaided. It contains a range of engaging Halloween themed (not scary or spooky) puzzles which have been drawn by a children’s illustrator.
Once a puzzle has been completed the picture comes to life; there are parts for the children to click on which then explode!
There are 12 different pictures to choose from and there are different levels meaning parents can set the challenge appropriately. You can choose from 9, 12, 16, 20 or 24 pieces; you can also choose whether you want the background picture visible and if you want to see the outline of the pieces.

What our experts think
Halloween puzzles has beautiful illustrations and charming animations which will be engaging to young children. We really liked the way in which you can not only change the number of pieces in each puzzle, but can also add an extra element of challenge by removing the background picture and/ or the outline of the pieces. These challenges add an extra dimension to the app and mean that it can be played with over a longer period of time without children becoming bored of it!
Children have to use their logic and, if hey have the background and puzzles piece shapes visible, their shape and colour matching skills.
It would be even better if...
A timer would have been a good idea, so older children could set themselves the challenge of trying to beat their previous time.
