What is it
This app teaches children Spanish through learning about animals in their natural habit. It is ideal for children who are just starting to learn Spanish and those at a higher level who wish to revise their vocabulary.
The app consists of an interactive story featuring 14 interactive screens. Children can explore different habitats and discover the animals that live there.
You choose a habitat and then, by clicking on the items on the screen, can hear the Spanish and english words.

What our experts think
We loved the way this fun app enabled children to hear a range of science related words clearly read in Spanish and English, (Habitats – Life Processes and Living Things.) There were lots of opportunities for Parents to discuss the habitats and develop their child’s understanding of the world around them.
The app clearly develops basic Spanish vocabulary and would be a good tool to use on its own at home or to supplement Spanish lessons.
It would be even better if...
We’d love to have heard the initial sentence for each page spoken in both English and Spanish.
