How to Play
There’s no need to go out and buy costumes, children can have fun dressing up by making costumes themselves or using sheets, towels and parents’ old clothes, costume jewellery to create their own fashions.
This will develop role play skills and allow children to get creative and imaginative.
Keep a box and add any suitable items that could be used for dressing up games.
Children could also make some of their own items for a particular them e.g.
Binoculars – using the cardboard tube from a toilet roll – Going on Safari,
Old spectacles – remove the lenses – Mad Professor /Scientist
Fairy Wand – Cut out a star from cardboard and glue onto a straw- Fairy Godmother
