How to Play

Get 10 plastic bottles and let the children decorate.

Fill the bottles with small stones or sand to give the bottles some weight. Or, alternatively, fill with coloured water.  Arrange the pins in a bowling formation.  Then get bowling.

This activity and game will develop creative skills and develop hand-eye coordination as well as gross motor control as children will be rolling the ball and aiming for the pins.

The game can be adapted depending on child’s age and ability. You could add a numeracy element to the pins, counting how many have fallen/are left standing, or write the numbers on the pins and encourage them to knock down several pins equalling an agreed total.
