What our experts think
The Talking Tiles are a fantastic product which help children to build their confidence with speaking out loud, as well as being great for sentence building and phonics. Our testers enjoyed the activities supplied in the booklet, as well as using it for certain lessons such as English at school.
We found it great for helping the children to sound out letters they found tricky and it helped them learn their lines for a sharing assembly, as they listened and repeated them back. We also found that the Talking Tile encouraged shy children and reluctant talkers to join in and express themselves, as they could build their confidence when speaking through the Tile. One of our testers even used it for their homework, recording herself reading out her poem on it, as she didn’t want to speak in front of the whole class.
