How is Bon Bear Born
Fill your Bon Bear with cotton and make your vow
1. Choose your favorite Bon Bear
2. Fill your Bon Bear with cotton
3. Hold the heart of your Bon Bear and make your vow
4. Put the heart into your Bon Bear
5. Sew the Bon Bear at the opening of its back
6. Fill in the Birth Certificate of your Bon bear
7. Put your Bon Bear into the colourful box and bring it home.

Make your own teddy bear at home! Lovely kit containing an empty bear skin, stuffing, a heart and a birth certificate, plus some clothes to dress your creation in once you’ve finished. Our testers were excited to open the box and get out their bear. They found that once the stitching was undone at the back they could easily stuff the bear with the padding. The arms and legs were done already which helped. They enjoyed making a wish on the felt heart supplied before adding it to their bear.
This kit doesn’t come with a needle so once an adult had found a suitable needle to use they then were easily able to stitch the bear back up for the young testers to dress. One of our testers decided that the plain white t-shirt supplied with her bear needed improving so she used some fabric pens she had at home to draw a cool design on her bear’s top, adding to the personalisation of her own home made bear. This teddy bear making kit encourages creativity, promotes imaginative play with the finished toy and builds on fine motor skills and dexterity.
