BRING PREHISTORIC CREATURES TO LIFE: Create realistic dinosaur models using the included kid-safe powered screwdriver and screws to excite and entertain paleontologists of all ages.
Paleontologists young and old will love creating prehistoric creatures with the Discovery #Mindblown Dinosaur Construction Set. Use the included parts and tools to assemble 3 unique types of dinosaurs: Brachiosaurus, T-Rex, and Triceratops!
The powered driver, bits and screws in the set are all kid-safe and allow for quick and easy assembly of the creatures.
Children will explore the prehistoric era and learn about palaeontology and engineering as they mix and match the included parts to create fun and unique dinosaurs.
What our testers said
“It is cool that it is a dino-building set. I have only seen cars before.” – Girl aged 5
“Let’s do the T-Rex first. We need the gate protected.” – Boy aged 5
What out experts think
Our testers were excited to build and play with the three (3) different dinosaurs. Children between the ages of 4-to-6-years old were diligent with the engineering and tool use. The children also enjoyed giving their dinosaurs names, personalities , and fun storylines between them and their other figures. Starting this dinosaur construction set, as a family, is recommended to manage the instructions.
The children were quick to learn to use the drill and screws. As they develop the skills to construct and deconstruct the dinosaurs more independently, their play takes on a whole new level of entertainment as they create their own hybrid dinosaurs. The children were thrilled when they became faster and faster at building their dinosaur characters and the 4-to-5-year-olds were especially prone to create action-packed pretend play scenarios. Playing with the Dinosaur Construction Set supports fine motor and eye-hand coordination skill development, problem solving, and language (as they create narratives for their pretend play scenes and when they explore palaeontology)
– Develops fine motor skills and bilateral coordination
– Promotes problem solving
– Encourages pretend play and creativity
