“So the rocket needs to be streamlined, well as much as possible.” – Boy aged 10
“What are the planets doing in space?” – Boy aged 9
This kit introduces children to the solar system, encouraging them to experiment in a hands-on way. This is great for engaging children in scientific concepts, as they develop understanding by creating the experiments themselves, resulting in clear visual explanations. Our testers really enjoyed getting creative and using trial and error to make the experiments work.
The experiments tested the children’s perseverance as they took it in turns to investigate. The instructions were easy to follow and it was great seeing our testers use their scientific skills to predict what would happen, before adapting logically if they needed to as they went along.
