This toy was great for soothing our little testers when they were tired. It works well when put into the cot; we found baby liked to watch the lights and listen to the gentle sounds. The owl develops children’s listening and attention as they turn to look at where the sounds and lights are coming from. This also promotes sensory exploration, colour recognition and fosters curiosity. It is helpful to have the choice of having lights, sound or both.
The owl is soft and offers different textures for baby to explore, developing fine motor control and dexterity and is easy for little hands to press to make sounds. This is a good comforting aid as it can be used to help baby fall asleep. Older babies will enjoy cuddling it but it could distract them from sleeping due to all of the features!
