Description

A preschooler’s very first microscope!

A fully functional microscope designed for little hands. This easy to use early learning microscope features two large eyepieces eliminating the need to close one eye plus simplified focusing (objects appear the right way up and are left-right corrected) helping young scientists understand what they see. Chunky pieces make this the perfect first microscope and also features LED light enhancing viewing of small details. Little ones will view 8x magnification and can work through the included instructions booklet with the assistance of a parent or teacher if required.

GeoSafari® Jr. is specifically designed for young explorers. The range offers child friendly tools and activities to help young children explore and experience the world. Helping little ones discover the answers on their own this range is a great way to begin early exploration and science. Children will answer questions about the world around them plus find some more questions to investigate.

What our experts think

The easy to use, talking microscope is a great way of nurturing children’s natural curiosity and their interest in science and nature. Our testers found it more engaging than a normal microscope, as it talked to the children so while they enjoyed looking closely at the slides, they could also listen and learn the facts at the same time.

This is great for teaching them scientific vocabulary and developing their knowledge about the world around them. The quiz also added an extra element and reinforced learning for the slightly older children. Our testers did find that the slides are quite tricky for children to slide in by themselves, so a little adult assistance is needed when using the microscope.
