What our experts think

A beautiful house that is robust and has lots of playability! Our testers were eager to start playing and creating their own stories, and enjoyed helping the adult’s put the set together. Once built, the children were able to play independently and imaginatively – there was lots of storytelling and role play, which builds creativity. The children also enjoyed acting out everyday activities with the set such as opening windows and knocking on the door. This element of play allows children to act out and make sense of scenarios they have seen in real life, which benefits their personal, social and emotional development and understanding of the world around them. The trap door feature in particular was a big hit and caused much excitement. The children did add to the set with some of their other pieces, as they found they needed accessories that weren’t included, such as a bed.
