Aston Martin has been James Bond’s vehicle of choice throughout the 007 franchise, and this set celebrates his most iconic choices: the Aston Martin DB5 and Aston Martin V8.
This Micro Scalextric race set features over 3.5 metres of track, with 9 track layouts which includes a ramp the new lap counter booby trap track piece!

This smaller sized track is a great introduction to Scalextric and the fact it is battery powered means that it doesn’t have to be set up near a plug socket and can be played with anywhere. Our younger testers needed some support to set up the track, but the older ones managed on their own and found the letter coded pieces really helpful. They loved racing the cars around the track as quickly as they could, and through trial and error worked out how best to use their controller to prevent the cars being derailed. The lap counter/booby trap was a popular feature, but needed to be adjusted. However, this didn’t take away any of the fun.
The set is great for encouraging children to challenge themselves and promotes healthy competition, helping develop their personal, social and emotional development and resilience. It also promotes sharing and turn taking if children are playing with a group of friends or their family.
