What our experts think
The Star Globe offers a fun and calming activity to help children to learn about the planets and constellations. The voice-over commentary was pitched at an appropriate level for the children, with enough information to get them interested without being overwhelming.
Our testers particularly liked the laser pointer feature, as this provided a further interactive element – ideal for children’s learning as it helps them engage with the facts they are listening to. The activity also provides a great jumping-off point for more discussion about space and astronomy. It helps if the projector is fairly close to the surface it is projecting on, the children enjoyed building a den to try it out in which worked very well!
