What our experts think
Snap dragon is a brightly coloured game that really encourages children to engage in turn-taking and competitive gameplay. Once our testers were able to figure out how to play from the instructions, it was quite an easy, straightforward game to understand. The children enjoyed winning the coins but enjoyed giving them back if they lost a lot less!
This is why games like this are great for understanding winning and losing – they help children to come to terms with the associated feelings and equip them with social and emotional skills needed for working in a team. Some of our testers even enjoyed using their imaginations and making up their own games with the dragon.
