What is it
Join Lightning McQueen for creative mess-free fun with his very own Aquadoodle. Soak the water tray and place the lightning roller over the pad; run Lightning over the magic mat and see the tyre tracks appear; any water that does run off the mat runs clear.
No mess, no stains, nothing to worry about – the drawing dries, designs fade away, ready for the mat to be used over and over again. When you’ve finished, the mat folds up for easy storage.

What our experts think
The familiar Cars theme really appealed to fans of the characters, encouraging them to unleash their artistic side without making a mess! One of the observers commented on how it was a really good toy for encouraging reluctant writers (especially boys); without knowing it they were developing the muscles in their hands ready for learning to write.
Our testers loved creating a range of shapes and patterns with the Aquadoodle pens, which is great practise for writing and also strengthens hand and finger muscles (known as fine motor control). Unfortunately children found the car shaped pens harder to use, and they ran out of water faster than the normal pen; but they could still be used for imaginative play by the older children.
