What is it
Densters are a set of flexible toy monsters that allow children to build their own dens and forts by attaching bedsheets and blankets to different parts of the room. There are six characters in the Densters family. Each one of them has a unique way of grabbing blankets and holding onto furniture, but they also have many functional purposes in the home: bag hook, cable holder, bookmark, door-stopper, bracelet and phone stand, which makes them useful to both kids and adults.
The six Densters are: Cheekaboo (a bag hook by day, blanket peg by night), Wizetta (bookmark that turns into a bed sheet holder), Grumpo (door stopper that can clamp and tightly hold blankets), Snella (a phone stand with a mouth that holds any fabric), Hoopsta (a bracelet for kids that also hooks and grabs blankets) and Zigzies (little cable holders that also act as clips for joining sheets together and building massive forts and dens)! Together, Densters take the experience of building a cosy hideaway to a whole new level!

What our experts think
Densters are brilliant tools that equip children with all they need to create imaginative forts and dens. The pegs were really easy for all of the children to use and were great for attaching to a wide range of things around the house and garden. Unstructured play is fantastic for children’s development, giving them the opportunity to create their own worlds and stories within them. This really empowers them to learn about and understand the world around them, as well as building their vocabulary and communication skills.
Our testers loved that the pegs pushed the children to get creative with objects found both indoors and outdoors – this also helps to introduce children to skills in spatial awareness and logical thinking as they bring their imagined den to life.
