What is it
Dessineo teaches children to paint in fun and simple step-by-step way.
Start off by using the Dessineo with the basic stencil to paint the outline of the body. The next step is to then choose one of the other stencils to create an animal. Then paint the large areas using the roller and use the brush for the details. It only takes three easy steps to complete one of our animal templates.
And don’t worry parents we have you covered… as everything can be neatly stored in the Easel itself!
Contents: 12 x templates, 10 sheets, 5 x different colour paints, 2 x rollers, 1 x brush, 1 palette and 1 painting easel.

What our experts think
A great product for enhancing creativity and enabling children to create a masterpiece to be proud of! Once children follow the instructions, they can easily produce an effective painting, building confidence in their art skills. Expressive arts are good for children’s personal, social and emotional development, allowing them to express themselves using different colours, shapes and textures. Learning to paint is also great for improving children’s pincer grip (when they hold the paint brush), which in turn benefits their writing skills.
There is a good variety of templates which our testers enjoyed choosing, and the roller was very popular. We really liked how compact the product is and that everything packs away neatly in the easel, making it great for taking away. Our one criticism is that the younger children could have used some thicker brushes as their motor control wasn’t developed enough to handle the smaller ones.
