What our experts think
The Rock-A-Mole guitar is great for introducing children to different musical sounds and creating music themselves from a young age. As soon as our testers saw it, they were excited to get started – it was very easy to hold and grab (especially for little hands), promoting dexterity and hand-eye coordination as the children worked out how to press the buttons and move the ‘pit’.
It also teaches early cause and effect logic, as children learn the consequences of pressing the different buttons which produce different sounds. It incorporated very well into imaginative play, with our older testers recreating a show and dancing and clapping along. The children also found that they could use other instruments to form a band, which encouraged them to play together and take turns.
