What our experts think
Our testers thought Freddie’s Activity Bus was beautifully made and the colours caught the children’s eye straight away. The children loved pushing the bus along the floor singing “the wheels on the bus” and exploring the zips, flaps and poppers, although they did need some adult help with some of the fastenings.
It has been useful for helping children to practice everyday fastenings with the adults modelling (undoing buttons) and the children trying to copy. This is great for developing their finger and hand strength and dexterity, ready for valuable life skills such as getting dressed on their own. We found the toy was more engaging for the younger ones who also enjoyed playing with it as they would a regular soft toy.
