What our experts think
Our testers thought Freddie’s Activity Bus was beautifully made and the colours caught the children’s eyes straight away. The children loved pushing the bus along the floor singing “The wheels on the bus” and exploring the zips, flaps and poppers, however they did need some adult help with some of the fastenings.
It has been useful for the children to practice everyday fastenings with the adults modelling (undoing buttons) and the children trying to copy. They also liked looking at themselves in the mirror.
The older end of the age range lost interest quite quickly and the younger children played with it as an ordinary toy, not really to develop fine motor skills with the different features of the bus.
