What is it
Use the included mould to create boulders and then use the vehicle’s claw to pick up the boulder, transport it, and dump it. Children can then use the rock crusher to turn moulded boulders into rock; this can then be smoothed with the tamper tool.
The set includes a poseable construction figure that fits inside the vehicle.

What our experts think
The Kinetic Rock Crusher set proved very popular with our testers – the whole set was very realistic and the children were fully immersed in their construction jobs! They really enjoyed how the ‘rock’ behaved and felt and many were reluctant to stop playing when it was time to tidy away. The children were encouraged to get creative as they created the different elements, which is also great for promoting curiosity. As well as building, the figure included promotes small world play; narrating and discussing their story helps children develop language skills.
The testers really liked using the rock grinder and the digger. The grinder did get blocked, but the children found it easy to push the rock through. We’d recommend playing with this in a tray as it is quite messy; also, the children found the sand a little sticky and needed to wash their hands to remove the residue.
