What our experts think
The Push n’ Glow Fish is a nice toy to encourage crawling, with an easy grip handle for younger ones to hold onto while pushing the toy along. Children liked the flashing lights and making the fish whizz along the floor!
The handle helps develop fine motor control by encouraging children to use a whole hand grip, while crawling along to push the toy strengthens arm and leg muscles while improving balance and coordination.
EYFS goals supported
Understanding the World – “Explores objects by linking together different approaches, shaking, hitting, looking, feeling, tasting, mouthing, pulling, turning and poking.”
Physical development – “Turns head in response to sounds and sights.”; “Reaches out for, touches and begins to hold objects.”
It would be even better if...
We think children would enjoy the Push n’ Glow Fish more if there was more to interact with.
