What is it
Paint sticks are extremely versatile and can be used for a range of techniques including blending, stamping, colour washing, scraping and dotting. Experiment with different effects, and create watercolour pictures by gently brushing water over the picture. Paint sticks are used just like glue sticks and allow vivid colours to be transferred directly onto a range of surfaces – canvas, wood, paper, card and even glass. No need for brushes, water or the usual mess that comes with painting. Pick your colour, lift the lid and twist, unleash your creativity and when finished just pack away – no mess! paint dries quickly within minutes.
The Dust free chalks are also ideal for mess-free drawing and writing. Creamy smooth vibrant chalks can be used on multiple surfaces.
This Double-sided classic art station incorporates Whiteboard/ Chalkboard sides.
Comes with 6 Classic Paint Sticks, 6 Chalk Sticks, 10 sheets of paper, 1 duster.
Portable and easy to fold and store.

What our experts think
The Paint Sticks Art Station encourages children to use their creativity and experiment with colour while minimising mess. We like that the Paint Sticks are so easy to use in their twist up & down format, as it allows children of all abilities to get creative – there is no need for paint brushes. Our testers enjoyed getting stuck straight in and creating colourful pictures.
The sticks are easy for little hands to hold, and as they use them, children will strengthen their hand and finger muscles and practice their pincer grip, which is essential for holding a pen to write. Some of our testers found the rubber a little hard to use, needing some adult assistance to wipe the board clean.
