What our experts think
Stacking Stanley was a big hit with our testers! They loved wheeling him around and watching the wheels go, and the bucket was the perfect place to pop in other toys to give them a little ride around. As they mimic trucks they have seen in real life, children’s understanding of the world develops and is the start of imaginative play. It was a great toy for the sandbox with children filling the bucket with sand and tipping it out.
Stacking the blocks improves hand-eye coordination, as careful control is needed to avoid knocking them over. The numbers and colours can be used by an adult to encourage counting and colour recognition.
