What our experts think
This is a nice simple game, and our testers really enjoyed the challenge of seeing how many animals they could balance on top of each other. This is ideal for developing concentration and improving hand-eye coordination, as children need to avoid knocking over the rest of the blocks. It also encourages children to think logically. Younger children liked knocking the blocks down as well!
At this age children are learning how to play together, which is a really important social skill. The Forest Stacker game is a great way to do this, as children can can play in a pair and learn to take turns. We love that the blocks are also animals which can be used for pretend play too.
It would be even better if...
We suggest only having two or three players at a time, as children this age get bored quite easily when waiting for their turn.
