What our experts think
These colourful and soft silicone toys are great for encouraging baby’s tactile learning and sensory development. This is so important at this age, as babies learn through touching and exploring everything they come across. The bright colours stimulate baby’s eyesight, while the different textures stimulate and encourage touching, shaking and even chewing, which is ideal for teething gums!
The size is great for little hands to hold and shake, and the rattle noise teaches early cause and effect logic (i.e. I shake this and it makes a sound). Our testers also enjoyed showing the toy and its smiley face to others. The suction cups allow the toys to be stuck on tables, high chairs, bathroom tiles and the floor, and reaching for them and pulling them strengthens important big muscles as well as develops hand-eye coordination. Some of our testers even enjoyed splashing around with them in the bath!
