What is it
The Rescue Ambulance is fully pre-assembled and equipped with a trailer hitch and a towing latch on the front of the vehicle.
The driver’s cab offers space for a 1.2.3 figure (1.2.3 child figure also possible) and the rear door can be folded out at the side. The patient bench in the ambulance attachment is designed for a 1.2.3 adult figure or 1.2.3 child figure – the figure is put in diagonally and the doctor’s bag can be placed in front of it.

What our experts think
A great Playmobil ambulance for little hands to play with! It is both easy to use and robust. Our testers loved pretending that the ambulance was on its way to rescue someone who was ‘poorly’ and there was lots of imaginative play and storytelling as well as role play from their own personal experiences. This kind of play is great for developing those important personal, social and emotional skills in acting out and making sense of different situations.
The toy prompted great discussion about the medical profession. Children were interested to find out more; asking questions and sharing knowledge with one another and their carers. This develops their knowledge and understanding of the world around them, as well as vocabulary and important communication skills.
It would be even better if...
The ambulance could have been a little larger and had some lights and sounds!
