What is it
Flags can be seen around the castle displaying the head of a wolf, marking the Knights’ territory. There is a secret passage to the side of the castle, making it easy for the Knights to get in and out without being seen by enemies, and there is a bow and arrow to warn off any unwanted attackers!
The set includes 3 Playmobil Wolf Knights – one on horseback – and lots of accessories.

What our experts think
An engaging Playmobil set that encourages children to immerse themselves in the world of knights and castles. We found the set was great for promoting imaginative play – our little testers really let their imaginations run wild as they commenced battle! This kind of fantasy role play builds creativity and develops personal, social and emotional skills as children act out and make sense of different scenarios. The castle theme was also popular, generating discussion which is great for developing children’s vocabulary and their understanding of the world around them by relating their play to real world concepts.
The children particularly liked the secret passage and the bow and arrow and, whilst playing added other small world figures and accessories to enhance their play, it was great to see that the set appealed to both boys and girls who played for long periods of time and kept returning to it. Older children were able to build most of the set for themselves; the instructions were clear with pictures and diagrams to follow but, a few of the steps were a little tricky and needed adult assistance.
