What our experts think
Science is all about investigation, and the Primary Science Lab Set gives children the chance to discover and learn by running their own science experiments. This set includes child friendly and colourful scientific tools, and helps children use scientific methods (such as predicting what might happen before the experiment) – this allows children to practice working scientifically (as encouraged by the National Curriculum).
To gain more from this set, you can get your child to reflect on the experiment, and think about why they found the result they did.
It would be even better if...
It was great for children to learn science using a hand-on approach, but it would also be good if the activity cards explained why the experiments produced the result that they did.
