What is it
Get ready to demonstrate your dancing skills and Strictly knowledge with the first ever Strictly Come Dancing Board Game! Based on the much-loved TV treasure, this game is ready to make family games nights fab-u-lous!
Capturing all the excitement of the popular BBC show, pair with an in-game professional dancer and journey through training answering trivia questions, taking on fun challenges and performing mini dance-offs. The two players that make it to the game’s ‘live final show’ can perform a dance in true Strictly style to one of the six tunes that are played on the revolving glitterball speaker, or take on the finger Cha Cha challenge.
Fellow competitors vote and the voice of Strictly Judge Craig Revel Horwood gives a score from the glitterball speaker. The finalist with the most votes wins the game and gets to waltz away with the trophy. So grab the glitter, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to play! The question is, will you score a perfect 10?

What our experts think
This board game based on the popular tv programme encourages children to take turns answering questions and acting out dances in order to lift the glitterball trophy! Some of our testers were big fans of Strictly Come Dancing and so the game instantly appealed.
We liked how there were instructions to follow to complete different dances seen on the show – our testers enjoyed guiding their peers to master the moves. This is great for communication and social skills, as well as turn-taking. The trivia questions also gave children the opportunity to build their general knowledge. The rules were a little confusing at times, but this did not limit our testers enjoyment of the game, as they found it easily adaptable; even playing with the cards only as a quiz.
