What our experts think
The Tea Trolley is great for encouraging imaginative role play and developing social skills. Our testers were keen to use it in their role play, ‘selling’ food and drinks to each other. Reenacting scenarios like this that they may have seen in real life is great for their personal, social and emotional development – this is because it allows them to act out and make sense of these different interactions.
The trolley also encouraged turn taking as the children each had a go pushing and pulling it around as well as being the seller or the customer, which is ideal for developing their ability to share and also to communicate with their peers. We found that the trolley was the perfect height for the children and well made and sturdy.
