What our experts think
The push-along Waddle Duck is great for helping babies and toddlers to develop and strengthen their big muscles as they push it along and interact with it. Our testers absolutely loved it and the “quack” noise it made was a hit. While the younger ones needed to be shown how to push it along at first, they were soon running it up and down the hallway. They soon found out that the faster you push the duck, the more it quacks – which resulted in lots of laughter!
The children also incorporated it into their imaginative play, pretending to feed it bread. Reenacting scenarios like this that they may have seen in real-life is fantastic at this age, as it helps little ones to make sense of the world around them. We liked that the duck seemed very robust and requires no batteries, which means it can be played with continuously.
