Our testers loved creating their own colourful patterns and models. The pieces were really sturdy and allowed children to explore shapes, symmetry and more by building 2D and 3D shapes.
Building with 2D shapes helps children learn to recognise the sides and corners of squares, triangles, and more. It also supports their logical thinking skills, as they learn to build a successful model. Following instructions to build patterns, or creating their own, can help children develop the foundational skills needed to understand coding.
Some patterns the children designed themselves couldn’t be completed. There are larger sets available, and sets can be combined, if your child wants to create these bigger and better models!
