What our expert thinks
This large, London Underground themed puzzle provides an engaging challenge for children, allowing them to develop important logical thinking and problem solving skills. Children enjoyed employing strategy in their attempts, for example starting with the corner pieces first.
As the puzzle was challenging, the children worked together to discover where the pieces went, which is a great way to develop social skills such as communication and cooperation. Children working independently tended to require adult support when it got a bit trickier, but pushed through to complete it, which is fantastic for developing perseverance.
