Amaziograph is a creative app that makes it easy to design beautiful tessellations and mandalas. With its simple, intuitive interface, children can enjoy experimenting with patterns while older users and even professional artists will appreciate the more advanced features.
The app provides a choice of 20 different symmetries, allowing each brushstroke to be reflected across the canvas to create stunning designs. Amaziograph also includes useful tools to support creativity and precision, such as:

A creative drawing app that was enjoyed by all ages. Users are able to create stunning symmetrical designs, play with colour mixing, adjust line thickness and rotate grids to produce endless variations. Most of our testers were really engaged and spent long periods experimenting with the app's different features. Even adults found themselves enjoying a few minutes of mindful pattern making.
The app encouraged calm focus while giving children the freedom to use their imagination to create unique designs. Adjusting the tools and patterns on the screen also encouraged fine motor control, as children sometimes needed to make very subtle and precise movements. The only downside is that the app doesn’t provide clear instructions or a step-by-step guide. Younger children sometimes found this confusing at first, though they quickly learned how to use the tools by trying things out. A tutorial would make it easier to get started, but overall Amaziograph is a fun, engaging app that inspires creativity for the whole family.
