First introduced by Little Tykes in 1979, this classic and iconic red Cozy Coupe is a childhood favourite and is perfect for promoting leg muscle development. With a removable handle and floor (so you could pretend to be like Fred Flintstone) it is great for parent controlled push rides or for children to control themselves at their own pace. The Cozy Coupe’s two front wheels spin 360º, it features a real working horn and despite it not being road safe (for obvious reasons) it still became one of the best selling cars in the 90’s, which is why this memorable Cozy Coupe will forever be the greatest toy to rule gardens worldwide!
What our testers said
“Can you push me really fast?” – Boy aged 2
“Vroom!” – Girl aged 3
What our experts think
The Cozy Coupe was really popular with our testers, who just loved charging around outside in it (once they’d loaded up their toys in the back, of course!). This is a really fun way to encourage exercise, and also gives children more freedom and independence. We like the removable floor which means adults or older siblings can push the car along with a little one inside. The details (like the fuel cap) help to encourage imaginative play.
– Role play encourages imagination
