This natural wooden highchair allows dolls to have a seat at the children’s table and is fantastic for extending their imaginative role play and storytelling.
Our testers found their favourite dolls and babies and immediately incorporated the highchair into their role play. Throughout this, they copied various scenarios they had seen in their own homes – this is great for their personal, social and emotional development as acting out different situations helps children to make sense of them. Playing with dolls and babies that encourage nurturing is also key for development as taking care of a doll teaches children to take care of others and themselves.
Our testers enjoyed incorporating the highchair into their nurturing play, adding their play kitchen food and feeding their baby. The highchair did take some time to build and the adults found the instructions a little tricky to follow – however once built it was extremely sturdy!
