"The laces are tricky, that’s for big boys shoes." - Boy, aged 4

"My brother has this on his trousers." - Girl, aged 4.
The Dressing Skills Bean Bags sparked curiosity and hands-on learning. Our testers were excited to explore each bean bag, enthusiastically identifying the different fastenings and where they’d seen them before – from items of clothing to straps on high chairs. This real-world relevance captured their attention straight away and they were keen to try each one, with particular favourites including the purse popper, helmet clip and zip. While trickier fastenings like the shoelace were beyond the younger testers' ability, there were enough accessible options to keep them engaged and practising. And the images on the back of each bag helped the children to relate back to everyday dressing tasks.

A great resource for building practical life skills in a fun, tactile way, and ideal for helping children prepare for dressing themselves at nursery or school. The set supports the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and hand strength, while also promoting patience, problem solving and perseverance.
