"I need to answer the question how I think everyone else will." - Girl aged 11
Herd Mentality is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud game for 4–20 players, where the aim is to think like the group rather than come up with a “correct” answer. Our testers quickly understood the rules and were able to start playing straight away, building confidence with each round. Players took turns to read simple, entertaining prompts, such as “Name a food with a hole in it,” supporting reading and communication skills, before writing down their answers and revealing them together.
This created plenty of excitement and discussion, helping to develop language skills and social interaction as children explained their thinking, and trying to match the majority was great for encouraging children to consider others’ perspectives. The game kept all ages fully engaged and its simple gameplay meant everyone had an equal chance of winning, regardless of knowledge or ability. A fun and inclusive choice for bringing together different generations for laughter, conversation and connection through play.
