In Your Shoes is an engaging game that encourages children to explore social and emotional development. It's visually appealing, easy to follow and relatable for children; encouraging them to consider how emotions connect to everyday situations in a meaningful way.
Younger children showed a clear interest in the emotion faces, often naming and recognising basic feelings. With adult guidance they were able to have valuable conversations around emotions and could link them to real-life scenarios. Older children enjoyed discussing different perspectives and considering how to navigate social situations more thoughtfully. This led to conversations around empathy and conflict resolution - both really useful life skills to develop.
