What our experts think

This Instant Print Digital Camera is ideal for encouraging children to explore their surroundings and get creative. As inspiration and creativity struck them, they took different photos of pets, toys, family and home decor. Children enjoyed staging different scenes with toys and objects, which is a great way to engage their storytelling skills in a visual way as they plan and execute the picture they want to create.

The children liked the fact that the printed pictures were stickers and they filled out the accompanying scavenger hunt book, sticking in the pictures alongside decorative frames and descriptive commentary in the text bubble templates. This encourages creativity and language skills through storytelling too. While younger children required more adult support and encouragement to engage with using the camera creatively, they were able to use and aim it independently to take a picture.
