My First Scalextric is a lovely introduction into racing cars for little ones, helping encourage healthy competition and hand-eye coordination.
The adjustable speed and power settings allow younger children to explore and build their confidence with the controls without the car constantly falling off the track. The children enjoyed racing against each other – this is ideal for introducing younger ones to winning and losing, as they can quickly try again.
Assembling the track did require some adult help as it was a little fiddly, however, the children enjoyed assisting with identifying which pieces went where.
