The My Princess Cape Kit is a fun colour-in dress-up set that lets children design and personalise their own princess cape using the included washable fabric markers, then wash it and start again. Alongside encouraging creativity and fine motor skills through colouring and design, it strongly supports imaginative role play. Our testers proudly wore their finished capes and built stories and characters around what they had created, becoming fully immersed in their own “princess worlds”.
There's also a simple foam crown with adjustable ribbon that adds to the dressing-up experience, and the lightweight cape (with velcro fastening) is easy for younger children to put on and move around in. We found that the reusable nature of the kit helped to extend engagement over time, as children returned to it to redesign and develop new characters and stories with each use.
