The NASA Moon Sand Activity Kit was popular with our testers. Children were eager to dive in and remained fully engaged throughout their play. They enjoyed using the space themed moulds and creating footprints with the astronaut figure, which encouraged rich imaginative play and storytelling. Bear in mind that the sand needs to ‘breathe’ for an hour before play, something worth noting for any impatient little astronauts.
An activity booklet and learning guide are also included, great for supporting children’s curiosity about space while extending the educational value of the set. The mouldable sand itself has a pleasant texture that the children repeatedly commented on, and it’s practical too, brushing off clothes easily and simple to clean up.
