“I love the different coloured lights. I pretend the T Rex is about to attack when the red light is on.” Girl, aged 12

“This T Rex poster is so cool!” Boy, aged 12
The 50+ piece wooden 3D T-Rex puzzle is hands-on and engaging, encouraging focus, problem-solving and creativity. Step-by-step instructions, shown on the reverse of a large T-Rex poster, combine pictures and words, making it easy to follow, though some pieces are tricky and require patience and perseverance to fit together.

Children develop fine motor skills as they carefully slot the wooden pieces into place. An extra pair of hands can be useful for the trickier sections, but testers stayed engaged throughout and felt a real sense of achievement when the model was complete. Excitement peaked as the finished dinosaur was placed on the motorised, light-up base, bringing their creation to life. Beyond the build itself, the puzzle sparked conversation, curiosity and imaginative play as the children enjoyed sharing dinosaur facts and making up stories. All in all, a really fun and educational experience.
