What our experts think

The set includes two books, one focused on early pencil control and the other on handwriting and alphabet practice. The vibrant pages and Paw Patrol characters kept the children engaged, making learning feel like an adventure. From simple tracing exercises and letter formation (in both upper and lower cases), to fun activities like mazes and colouring pages, the variety ensured that the children remained interested and keen to progress through the book. The cloth bag made the set easy to store and take on the go, while the coloured pencils were easy to hold, although some were a little faint on the page.

Adult guidance is helpful for reading instructions and checking letter formation, but the directional arrows are a great visual aid for the children when writing the letters. The stickers at the back of the books were popular with the children, and parents used them as rewards for completing the activities and incentives for moving on to the next activity. A well designed, educational set that makes handwriting fun, builds confidence and gets children ready for classroom learning.
