Our testers were very excited about the Toy Story theme and eagerly explored the different tools, characters and pots of dough. They used the Play-Doh alongside Woody and Buzz to create their own space-themed stories and enjoyed acting out Toy Story adventures. This supported imaginative play and creativity, also helping to build communication skills through role play.
The set supports fine motor skills and strengthens the muscles in the hands through rolling, pressing and moulding. Testers stayed engaged for long stretches, often returning to their play with fresh ideas. They enjoyed using the alien moulds, and the character figures were a real highlight, but the rocket ship was the star of the show, with children especially enjoying using it as part of their storytelling.
The mix of creative hands-on play and the familiar Toy Story world works well, making this a fun and flexible set that encourages imagination and repeated play.
