Description
WaxiDoodles are colourful, wax-coated modelling sticks that make creativity hands-on and mess-free. They stick together or to most surfaces with gentle fingertip pressure, without leaving marks behind, making them ideal for 3D building, crafting, and learning through play.
Children can twist, shape, and mould WaxiDoodles into letters, numbers, and imaginative creations — a fun way to develop fine motor skills and support early literacy and shape recognition. The sticks don’t blend, can be reused endlessly, and are perfect for use at home or in the classroom.
Sets available include:
- Original Set: 150 WaxiDoodles, durable play board, and activity booklet.
- Unicorns & Dinosaurs Sets: 180 themed WaxiDoodles, themed activity board, punch cards, and booklet.

"Look at my pretty flower. It's lots of different colours." - Girl, aged 4
"T-Rex dinosaurs could see 3 miles away! That's far!" - Boy, aged 8
These colourful, creative sets inspire children to explore and use their imaginations; whether they're venturing into dinosaur worlds, creating magical unicorns, or forming letters and shapes through hands-on sensory play. Our testers found the wax strips easy to mould and liked the fact the different colours stay bright and fresh making them reusable. As they created pictures, 3D models, letters, numbers etc, the children were developing their fine motor skills and hand strength.
Some children started by copying ideas from the packaging or leaflets before branching out into their own designs. Those using the dinosaur set particularly enjoyed the fun facts, which sparked lively conversations and curious questions. A board is also included to use as a work surface or somewhere to display finished creations. Open-ended and versatile, the sets encourage endless possibilities and proved popular, keeping children absorbed for long periods of time. A great hands-on resource that nurtures creativity, imagination and learning in a fun and engaging way.
