The Dog Crimes board game provides lots of opportunities for logical reasoning, problem-solving and decision making to find out the culprit of the crime. Children can play both independently or competitively. It is a great way to build their confidence with their decision making, at times using trial and error to retrace their steps when they realised they had got something wrong.
As children work through the problems, they develop their perseverance and logical reasoning, especially when they had to use their memory and observation to recall features of the dog ‘suspects’. We found the game ideal for playing as a family because you can progress up and down the level of cards or mix and match depending on who’s playing. The adults even found it challenging at times too, especially when using the ‘expert’ cards!
