"We have to put the animals in the right boxes to make it all fit." - Girl, aged 6
A fun puzzle game that encourages children to use logic and problem-solving skills. Our testers needed to think carefully about where each piece should go, helping to develop concentration, focus and perseverance as they work through the challenges. Many testers used trial and error to find the correct solution, gradually improving their confidence and speed as they progressed. Being able to check their 'answers' in the accompanying booklet also helped children feel reassured and gave them a sense of achievement when they solved a puzzle correctly.
Although the game is designed for one player, some of our testers chose to work together to solve the challenges, turning it into a collaborative activity. The puzzle cards can be swapped to create different levels of difficulty, allowing children to start with easier challenges and build up their skills over time.
Most children needed an adult to explain how the game worked at first, but were able to continue playing independently once they understood the concept. Adults also commented that the instructions were clear and supported by helpful illustrations, and that the pieces are sturdy and well made, meaning they can withstand regular play.
