For added safety, there are two adjustable seatbelts and a rubberised bumper for added protection.

What our experts think
Our testers couldn’t wait to climb in! The realistic looking bumper car with lights, sounds and music was a real draw. A little setting up is required and it needs to be charged, but the QR code supplied made it extremely easy and also gives you access to a trouble shooting page if you should run into any difficulties. The fact that the number plate can be personalised was a nice touch and really impressed the children.
They found it easy to climb in and out of the car independently, and having room for two children is a real bonus to help avoid fall-outs when sharing doesn’t go to plan. The car is very sturdy and was used both indoors and outside on astroturf. Our testers found the controls easy to use and enjoyed navigating their way around, but not before buckling themselves in with the seatbelts – safety first! There is also an option of controlling the car remotely, which is handy if parents want to take charge.
Playing with the Xootz Big Bumper Car supports various skills, including gaining an understanding of cause and effect, developing fine motor skills and upper body coordination, while also encouraging imaginative roleplay.
